Topic: BlockChain Brief - William will talk about his BlockChain POV and how it can create truth-based systems! 

Speaker info -  William Gordon is Chief Executive Officer of BlockQAI, a leading blockchain development and consulting company, and its subsidiary, A Real Blockchain Solution, a company that is transforming how real estate is bought, sold, and managed. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Excel English Institute, the largest for-profit English language school in the State of Texas.

William is the former Chief Information Officer for NetApp, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP); Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Cloud Services for Xerox Corporation (NASDAQ:XRX); Chief Executive Officer for Miracom Network; Chief Executive Officer for TechSys, Inc. (NASDAQ:TKSS); and Chief Procurement Officer for Accenture (NASDAQ:ACN).

William was Founding Trustee & General Secretary of the Cyber Future Foundation, the most prominent cyber security think tank in the world. He also served on the Board of Directors of nDivision Inc. (OTC:NDVN) and TechSys Inc. (NASDAQ:TKSS) where he helped lead reverse takeovers (RTOs) transitioning them from private companies into publicly-traded companies.

William is a member of the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance (IECG), and the Private Directors Association (PDA). He currently sits on HMG Strategy’s CIO Executive Leadership Distinguished Advisory Board, and is a co-Chair of the North Texas Tech Connect (NTTC) Conference. 

William did most of his undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University, with additional stops at the University of Texas at Dallas, University of North Texas, and George Washington University. 

He has a Master’s Degree in International Political Economics from the University of North Texas, a political science degree with a dual focus on international politics and economics. William has had global operating responsibility in 120 countries in his various roles over the years. 

During military service in the United States Army, William served as Administrative Assistant to the Army Chief of Staff, Strategic Analyst for the Secretary of Defense, and Legislative Liaison on Capitol Hill for the Secretary of the Army. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Joint-Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and promoted by the Assistant Secretary of the Army.

William and his wife, Cindy, have been married for 31 years, and have three children, Harrison, Gil, and Remington. They like international travel, and particularly enjoy hiking and mountain biking.
