ABTP is proud to present Rick Stark, CIO CrowdStrike to share perspective on recent approaches to protect yourself and your firm from breach, especially Ransomware.
Rick Stark serves as the CIO at CrowdStrike, a global market leader in Cyber Security solutions in cloud-delivered next-generation endpoint protection. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Rick served in senior leadership and advisory roles for organizations, including industry leaders like Esri, Cymer, Avnet and Gateway.
Rick is a transformational IT and Operations strategist with over 25 years of progressive management experience strengthening performance at small, medium and large organizations in multiple industry verticals. Rick has extensive global experience, having worked and lived in some amazing international locations, including Ireland, Japan, Singapore and Australia. He led initiatives that delivered improvements at the organizational, system, and process levels, and presided over global systems implementations and integration of multiple acquisitions.
Rick has an extensive experience in building and motivating global IT organizations, and has managed multi-national teams and offshore operations in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific. During his tenure in Asia, Rick led various business units that helped take an organization from startup to over $700 million in revenue, in under five years.
In addition to advising business leaders Rick participates in executive advisory boards for several Fortune 500 companies and serves as a board member for private and non-profit organizations. He has been interviewed and quoted in several publications, and has been a speaker and panelist at IT and leadership conferences in Asia-Pacific and the US.
A native of Nebraska, Rick is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
